I'd say Ninty fans. When they announce maybe it will be the industry.

Just Nintendo fans, as was the same for the WiiU. The rest of the gaming community has no reason to be excited for anything from Nintendo after these past two generations.

Not being a early adopter this time.
Nintendo will need to prove they still have it together (their sh*t) if they want me to get one.

I want to see the nintendo of old.
I want more rpgs on their system.
I dont want to see anymore Mario 2D platformers, for the NX.

Im excited. And im a sega fan. Nintendo has never abandoned its identity. They have good and bad times. But im here to help this man out. And i will blindly buy nintendo nx cause zelda and metroid are boss

Im a hard to the bone PS fanboy... Being said that, I have Xbone (for MCC) and just got WiiU for SSB4, and have a gaming rig with al kind of games, but I use it mostly for RTSs and mobas... and yes, I am excited because before being a PS fanboy I am a gamer, and its always exciting when new gaming devices see the light...
I want to know whats cooking in Nintendos kitchen, maybe it can make me come back to the big N after 4 generations away from it... or maybe it will make me laugh at Nintendo fanboys,, either way, its exciting..

I'm a pretty recent Nintendo fan and I'm excited for any console that means more Nintendo games :). For the general gaming public though, I believe people are more curious than excited, since we basically know nothing.

As a gamer, I am not excited about having to buy new hardware. I do not buy Nintendo systems for graphics, so I really do not think that the NX will improve my gaming experience in any way. I am completely fine with 3DS level graphics and I love the types of games that it has.

That said, as a fan of Nintendo, and someone who does not want the company to go the way of Sega, I am excited about the NX for the sole reason that I hope that it can at least be a moderate commercial success for the company. I also hope that other Nintendo fans who skipped out on the Wii U are excited about the NX. With all the devices that people have today, it's going to be increasingly hard for the NX to be successful but I do believe that it is still possible and I am excited to see if Nintendo can pull off a technological masterpiece and silence the Nintendoom sentiment that has been running rampant on the internet for the last couple of years.

I'm excited. I consider myself a Nintendo Fan. Aso for the gaming community I think if the NX is a good powerful and gets 3rd party and 1st party they will jump in just like people did with the Wii.
