He is 100% correct, Nintendo originally labeled DS as a "third pillar" and said it was not a successor to GBA. I can't post links on this phone but it's an easy Google search.

As for the false statement u keep repeating, it was never stated that NX wouldn't be a successor to Wii U, u r just making that up, they said it wouldn't be a SIMPLE successor.

That worked out well the last time a games console used them.

Believe what you want, but you have zero evidance towards what the NX is. None of what Nintendo or Reggie said reveals what the NX is. Its all you making the decision by yourself.

I'm not pretending anything. I didnt get into portable gaming until much later (only cared about the Game gear before then). So i didnt closely follow this thing.

I didnt say i didnt believe you, but i wanted proof. He doesnt say it isnt the sucessor of the gameboy but he does say its the third pillar. I guess inherently it was different system. Maybe they use this method when they want to try something crazy and see if it sticks. We still have no data to know if its a home console or portable or whatever and who its aimed at.

Because if you did you wouldn't even have posted this, third pillar means something completely separate as you have the pillars of your own business, the is no "He didn't mean this..." rubbish here he flat out out said it's a third pillar, you yourself are adding the temporary part, the's no argument here as far as that goes they said DS wasn't a replacement for the GB brand.

You're even wrong on the replacing of the Wii and Wii U part as that's not what was said, Iwata said it's not a replacement in the usual standard way and the current President has repeated that in saying the NX won't just be a Wii 3, they've essentially said NX is replacing them but won't follow the same concept and approach as them.
