I'm not pretending anything. I didnt get into portable gaming until much later (only cared about the Game gear before then). So i didnt closely follow this thing.
I didnt say i didnt believe you, but i wanted proof. He doesnt say it isnt the sucessor of the gameboy but he does say its the third pillar. I guess inherently it was different system. Maybe they use this method when they want to try something crazy and see if it sticks. We still have no data to know if its a home console or portable or whatever and who its aimed at.
