I'm being generous here to me a with both movies and games the first time they where released somewhere no matter how small or big the market counts as their release year.  Pretty much every major website (imdb, wikipedia etc.) sees it the same way.

Honestly, while neither interests me enough to be worth purchasing at the moment, if I had to pick between the PS4 and the Xbox One, I'd choose Xbox. 

I prefer the controller, I like Halo and Gears more than Sony's franchises, and I like Microsoft more as a company.

expect another change when we show that only 2 new games were released exclusively for X1 this year.

I have a huge backlog of games so I could care less how many X1 exclusives where released this year the only two I will/have played in the year they where released are the F&F standalone game for Horizon 2 and Forza 6 and I'm fully aware that only one of those was a true exclusive since I also played the F&F standalone game for Horizon 2 on my 360.

As I always say. If you can buy all consoles, go ahead.

But lets be honest, there is a reason why XBox has always ended 3rd in each generation they have participated in.

Their product is the last one on my list each gen. Simply because of the games. Sony and Nintendo usually have the better ones.

And with most XBox games going to PC. Does XBox really need to exist? There you go, in case you were looking for a con.

Not really I still going to play Rise of the Tomb Raider and Ori and the Blind Forest eventually.  Also in FM6 I put in over 200 hours just in drive time so even with just one game my gaming wants and needs where more then fulfilled on the X1 in 2015.  Also if I actually cared for FPS and online gaming I'm sure I could play Halo 5 just as much.
