Why would the complaint they got something better. Joking aside this really sucks.
Who can be such an asshole to do such a thing? I mean, this could've happened to anyone, but it's still something nothing more than a scumbag could do. And like JRPGfan mentioned, how did that person have the time to carve a piece of wood of an exact size of a PS4? My guess would be a disgruntled employee.
So, uh, am I the only one getting a chuckle out of the ORIGINAL news story?

Don't be silly, we all know better.
The hype extends far beyond metacritic and the internet. Kids don't just play CoD and this year the hype has been on MGS 5, The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. They are influenced by many sources including friends, older siblings, etc. I don't have to explain anything.
