360 First, But by 30 mil. it'll be a close race...

PS3 to get to 25 million first

yeah 360 will have it beat but only by about 4 months

I think the PS3 willbeat the 360 to 25m fairly easly. 360 has lost its strong hold in America without anything besides Blu-ray pushing the PS3 the first three months of the year. Next month with GT5P coming, PS3's Blu-ray 2.0 getting recognized as people shop, and GTA4 It is not looking like things are going to get any better for MS. I see April as a point of no return for MS in the US. I think they have shown that they will not drop the US price before the launch of GTA4, and a price drop after that is going to be to late. I see PS3 having so much momentum going into the summer that even if we saw 299/399 VS. 399/499 I think PS3 will still be leading sales, and not buy a small margin. After the MGS4 fever dies down I see Sony lowering to match 360 price wise and throughing LBP out there to go along with the new more casual pricing structure. The current Fall lineup gives PS3 a major advantage IMO. No Halo game is going to do anything for 360 anymore, and all of the other games coming are still geared towards current owners. With a wider ranging library and Blu-ray on the PS3's side I see Sept - Dec being 2+/1 PS3 ovber 360 in the USA.

In Others PS3 is already hadedly outselling the 360, and even with rediculous price cuts it still managed to sell 7K more units. This week I think PS3 will top everything in Others, and I don't see anything outselling it for quiet a while. With the previously mentioned games helping out even more as they are much more popular franchises in EU than they are in the US. I see the Sept-Dec numbers in others being nearly 4 to 1 in favor of PS3.

Japan is the biggest question mark in my opinion. I think they will outsell the 360 by 300k in June with the launch of MGS4, and the upcoming golden week should help PS3 a lot more than 360. Other than those to things I am not really sure what Japan will do. If the FFXIII demo is indeed included in the PS3 version of Last Remnent the I would expect another Huge gain in Japan in that month. No matter what happens with PS3 in Japan 360 will for the most part fair much worse.
