I never played the SNES game, but the N64 was great.

Am I the only one who actually loved this game. Yeah it was my first M&L, but even after playing BiS I still think it holds up well enough.

I found it to be boring, repetitive, and lacking the charm/humor factor. The beauty of an opinion is that we can all have differnet ones, though :)

So it's not a bad game then, you just didn't like it. From what I've heard, Dream Team sounds like the worst with it's constant tutorials and hand holding.

Dream Team has the advantage of better hardware though. It's also the wackiest mario game I've ever played. But yes the tutorials and particularly the game length in that game are insane.

I will be shocked if Super Paper Mario is voted the fourth best game over all of the M&L series. I could only get a couple hours into that game before I quit, it didn't even seem to be a rpg honestly.

Sticker Star also had that advantage. :L

Gameplaywise it's certainly not, it's more a Mario platformer where you have to jump on enemys multiple times before they die, but the story is probably the best in the series. I agree though, BiS atleast should definitely be ahead of it.
