So previous to doing an actual estimation I had guessed TFA would do around 1 billion domestically lifetime. But after looking at this it seams that was too low.

End of fifth week prediction, that's 3 weeks and 1 day
Low end 900 million
Reasonable high end 1.1 billion.
Avatar did more than 200 million after its 5th week. However Jurassic world only did 50 after this point(lots of big movies tho).
Total gross prediction
Low end 1.025 billion
Reasonable high end 1.3 billion(holly shit that's just domestic)



If it sticks to the high end....
1.3 billion US
1.3 billion foreign(that's 50% before China just like it is now)
300 million China
2.9 billion total. Will do at least 2.3-2.4

I want it to pass Avatar, but I don't think it will, I'm guessing it will top off at around 2.4-2.5 billion, hopefully I'm wrong though.

In my opinion, the movie is highly overated. It doesn't deserve to pass Avatar. At least Avatar did something groundbreaking  with its engrossing world  and incredible effects. This movie had a crap villain and pretty much recycled A New Hope. Not deserving of the records it's breaking. 

I'm amazed it's already #29 All time adjusting for inflation. Really looking forward to it getting into the top 10

I wonder where it is if you don't count the re-releases of movies.

Well this weekend it should do around 90 million, but then its weekdays will probably drop arond 65-70% since the holidays will be over, I'd say it might do 130-140 million for its third week, giving it around 800 million domestically.
