OK I have a question to ask the STAR WARS fans. I've never watched one but I know ill love them as I live sci Fi. Im going to watch them but I want to know what's the best order to watch them? I know they came out with episodes 4-5-6 first then 1-2-3. Which way would be best to watch them?

4-5-2-3-6 skip 1 for some other time. It allows for many surprises and has a more focused parrallel between the two trilogies

Ep. VII may not beat Avatar WW, but it's looking like a lock for the domestic crown for sure, and that record could stand for a long, long time.

I don't think Avatar 2 will beat Star Wars VII worldwide either.

Titanic will always have MORE ticket sales, though. THAT film to me is still unbeatable in ticket sales. As far as I'm concerned, it is still the #1 movie domestic and worldwide. The $$$ will always change, but not tickets. Titanic will NEVER be topped for a modern day film (90's and beyond.) It was truly something special and deep that appealed to a HUGE target audience.

prety easy to make something number 1 when you discount all the things that did better that came before it. Titanic never was number 1 in ticket sales, and never will be. Even with it's rerelease.

Ye its insane if true. This is 100% anedoctal but Im Brazilian (wich is an OK box office when compared to a bunch of other countrys but waaay smaller than USA, generaly netting from 18-25 M to the bigest movies) and I live in a relatively small city, the theathers here have a hard time getting packed on openning days of most movies let alone on the 3rd week on a Monday. So this Monday I went to see the movie for the 3rd time (I realy like it and I had two friends who handt watched it and I wanted to see it again), seing as it was a Monday and it was already awhile since it released we tought wed be fine arriving on the teather right when the movie was begining and we were completly dumbstruck when we found out we got the very last 3 tickets for the screening, the room was completly crowded. I honestly never saw anything remotly like this on my city, this might have some crazy legs worldwide.

Hopefully! I just hope it takes off in China, because if Jurassic World and Furious 7 can gross  $320M and $390m then Star Wars, a world known franchise should be able to gross at least $400, twice as much as Avatar.

@brute

That is strange. Usually the two big sites will actually say "actuals. Ok, Cool!

It's the holidays, studios only give estimates this time of year.

How dare you disrespect Rth the God by claiming he is merely an insider?
