So are these locked on Windows 10 store specifically? or Do you think they will have a Steam release as well?

You mean "losing" exclusives to Microsoft's other platform, windows 10 PC's? MS has an gaming ecosystem that right now spans over 100million gamers, I think they are quite happy, and us Xbox gamers as well, that they release to our second platform besides the console :).

No, care to explain? Are you mad that I forgot nintendo? |
The joke is that Nintendo will never lose an exclusive since they own them all.

Its how I emulate Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Server 2003/2008 on my Windows 7 ;o
Edit: Well I havent tested Win 10 cause I dont have the installation file (not disc xD) for it but I'm sure it'll work the same way providing you know how to set up a Virtual OS ;p |
Windows software have backwards compatibility for the last three iterations of a Windows OS. You're safe if your oldest OS is Windows 7. Out of luck if you use Windows XP though...

so i need to use a virtual OS to play win10 game on windows7?

That's awesome, more people will get to play them. They've run their course on the Bone. More potential to sell at higher prices. I for sure ain't buying them till they are bargain digital on Xbone
So just how many exclusives does the Xbox One have?
Let's be consistent from now on. When PS4 gets a bunch of titles that are PS4/PC, we happily say "console exclusive" and that since it's not on XBOne, it doesn't mean anything that the games are on PC.
So, when XBOne games go PC, but not PS4, it's not "losing exclusives". Not on PS4, so it doesn't matter that they're on PC.
With that said, the fact that it's first party games is interesting. The point of first party games is that they're only on your console. You'll never see Mario or Uncharted on PC. Granted, it's Microsoft, and games like Halo have been on PC so it's not unprecedented. But also, on the onset of this gen, they were pretty stern about 1st party games not coming to PC and it's happening anyway

Instead of saying that the release windows of Gears and KI are coming to PC in 2016 directly in the title, we have to click on the thread... to find out that the 2 "losses" have been announced months ago, and one is a remaster of a game that was already available on PC anyway... |
He also tries to make it sound really negative in the title towards the Xbox One but then goes to say that he's "really glad about all the PC support Phil is showing" and wants to seem happy about it which is a contradiction.
If it's something he's so happy about apparently then why does he try to make it sound so negative in the title? I wonder why.

You answer to your "consistency" comment yourself ^^.
If third party games are PS4/PC and Sony games are PS4, then it makes the Xbox one irrelevant and help the PS4.
If MS games are Xbox One and PC, then it also makes the Xbox One irrelevant. And it also matches with the "Let the Xbox die and come back to PC" usual strategy ideas, which is not really possible or relevant for Sony. I still think personally that they will make a big Xbox app and port their games on it to push W10 gaming and focus more and more on that (give us AoE 4, MS!) .
MS chooses to not favor the Xbox One, when Sony and the third party publishers choose to deprive the Xbox One of some games. It's all good for PC gamers, pretty good for PS4 gamers (more and more games are inclined to take the PS4/PC way instead of just PC), but nothing good for Xbox One gamers seems to come out of these deals.
There is consistency here, but the issues and strategies of each company are different.
