The United States is a Christian nation and it has always been a Christian nation. His words are true. Regardless of the spirit of the constitution, the land was built by Christian settlers. Not muslims, not atheists, etc.

Actually, It was built by people who escaped christianity in Europe and the original vision by those who wrote the constitution,  was that US would be the first country not ruled by religion, even wrote a book about it... It's weird that i know about your constitution and country more then you..... It's sad

You need to see my previous post. That was all on paper but in practicality, it was populated by practioners of various Christian sects.  The overall culture was based on Christian values and beliefs.

Also, I love how you assume I am American. I am trained in American jurisprudence however.

There's another way to interprete his original comment, I noticed... And one more, if you're really nitpicking and purposely misunderstanding.

I totally know what you mean. xD People do other stuff while kneeling.

Hey guys, ***stretches***

What do you guys want to know?

Hmm, its almost as if this is an irrelevant appeal to history...

Just a reminder. And very relevant. Christianity, despite atheists and progressive liberals best attempts, has not been eradicated in the US. God Bless America and those still faithful to God.

That non-sequitor tho...

(to clarify, not only is your two comments irrelevant, but the notion that christianity is difficult to eradicate does not advance your argument in any way. And those still faithful to God? pfff Give me a break.

What is? The article is about a political candidate's statement about the importance of faith while in Office. I know that's shocking to liberals and SJWs but it's not if you look at history. The US is and always has been a Christian nation. But a few more decades of this SJW paradigm and it won't be that way.

Exactly my point dear friend. The importance of faith. And beleive it or not, its not important. If anything it hinders rational thought.

And then you came into this thread with history monologue, which is entirely irrelevant.

No, it is important exactly for the reasons I mentioned. You don't know your history or you simply don't care. Either way, you come off as ignorant. For a Christian nation with a Christian heritage faith IS important. It's not that hard of an argument to comprehend.
