Makes sense. Every Uncharted game has started with Nate an Elena not together and every game has ended with them together. This game starts with them together and so it must end with them not together.

After seeing that trailer, I have to ask myself where's my mind. Oh, it's in the water; I see it swimming.
Nathan stops all expeditions, marries Elena and they live happily ever after!
