Just wow. 1080p - 60 fps and total overhaul in graphics. makes other remasters run in shame

Well the original game was visually at par with PS2 or Wii graphics.

The visual overhaul is nice. But are these great graphics for PS4? No.

Not really. More like mid budget 360/ps3 game.

Really look at Gravity Rush on Vita. The quality of those textures and chracters models don't even look great by 6th gen standards. Its just a nice looking game for the hardware, but not PS360.

Gravity Rush on PS4 is basically mid budget PS3 graphics. But the power of PS4 can offer those graphics at 60 fps and 1080p. Looking at the video the only assets they really touched was textures and character models.

The visual overhaul in the Halo 2 Remaster and Gear of War remaster were more significant. However, this is a step in the right direction for Sony remasters.

Yeah but it was 30fps, the first uncharted was a better overhaul than gears 1 with the same kind of huge improvements and 60fps. Sony doesnt have to prove anything when it comes to remastering games. Gravity Rush is clearly not sucessfull series in comparison to gears which was MSs flagship on 360, so i give sony also more credit for this game

Well a big reason Gears on X1 is 30 fps because its pushing more demanding visuals than Uncharted 1's remaster. The Gears remaster is a complete visual overhaul. The Uncharted collection is mostly the old assets with some improvments.

Halo 2 Anniversary achieves 60 fps and is also a complete visual overhaul like Gears. But achieving 60 fps obviously limits graphics potential.

The Gravity Rush remaster is primarily texture improvements and better looking characters models so that made 60 fps relatively easy to achieve.
