Witcher 3, Fallout 4, or Bloodborne for me. I am constantly switching my choice as they are all great.
Grats to Xenoblade though!
My personal ones so far are THe Witcher 3 and Pillars of Eternity. I haven't yet played the new Xenblade as I'm still playing the 3ds one.

Traditional RPG's are tabletop RPG's. Western standard.

I meant traditional "home console" RPGs.
Not terribly surprising, given the fact that many considered the first Xenoblade to be the best rpg of last gen.

Missinformation? How is it missinformation if the source is right there? Lmao! So if your preferred game was in the OP I bet you wouldnt complain right now and instead praise it till the end of time (I mean most of the Nintendo fans are doing it right now) - I bet you every single game I own on the NES, SNES, N64, GCN, Wii, WiiU, GBC, GBA, NDS, 3DS, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP, Sega Genesis and PC that if this was Bloodborne or whatever your game was your complaining about in the topic - the opposite of what has been happening on this thread would happen. May I give you my address for you to ship the games to me? I have no ill feelings towards Nintendo, I like them. And yes I wouldn't just decide to consider an award or final veredict of the whole company just because one author says it's the best he played this year. There is a huge difference between both, and you know it. Time never proclaimed nothing, you did based on the opinion of one writer. Umm, did you even read the OP or even looked at the source? Or did you just read the Topic title and became salty because your preferred game didnt get an "Award". I read. And I was not salty since I didn't bothered with any of the RPGs released this year, so it being declared better than Witcher 3, Fallout 4 or Bloodborne doesn't bother me. I don't usually play WRPG, and even JRPG I play very little, mostly FF. So your reading of me is very far off. Wooooww so they portraing it in their website represents their veredict? That must mean all the posts on the wall street journal must represent their advise on buying and selling right? And that also must be why a lot of those posts have disclaimers saying it don't represent the opinion of the company. This topic is about a review and an opinion - not an award. I cant even fathom the fact that one particular fanbase on this forum is salty because of one publication's opinion - its not even an award and even if it is on - move on with your lives , it'll be best for all of us - trust me. Yes the post is about a writer opinion, the tile is about a company proclaiming... much closer to an award. And not sure why you think I'm salty. I have moved on, you are the one seeing on a grudge about the issue. Not even sure why. P.S. Also nice try on the forum rule argument trying to get me banned or this topic locked , pretty sure what you are doing (backseat moderating) is also against the rules - feel free to re-read it again since you are clueless on the forum rules as much as you are clueless on how publications work. I didn't try to get you banned or locked nor did I done backseat moderating. I just advised on the content of your post, but take it as you like. If I think there is a reason to report I'll just do it, if I just think it can be improved then I'll say in the open. Edit 2: Please return to topic about Time Magazine's review about their best RPG of the Year - or dont post at all if you dont like it. If you have any complaints about the content in the topic - please feel free to make a new topic on the link listed below or please send a email to Time Magazine.com. Thank you, and have a great, glorious , golden day. You know you don't decide what can or cannot be discussed on the thread as long as it's in topic. And we are discussing it, that the post content, your title and conclusion is disconnected. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/board.php?id=3

Well there you go - you answered your own question - guess that means Time Magazine does proclaim it since there isnt a disclaimer ;o! So lets get back on topic about how Time Magazine has proclaimed that Xenoblade X Chronicles is their best RPG of 2015! I cant wait to get the game in the future ^_^. I've played almost every big RPGs released this year (except Bloodborne) and yeah, I can't agree more, Xenoblade Chronicles X is outstanding.
