And be very close to its peak year sales, of 2013! Say it all Onekart e.t.c

Also super mario maker has contributed too in that situation...

I did say it all.  All there is to say is that his statement was incorrect.

Yeah... Except the fact that sales of 2015 are very close to the sales of its peak year! That's an important detail!

There not too far off 2014 either.  The fact is they're more than 2014 and less than 2015 making his statement wrong no matter how you bend it.  Why are you arguing?

Where am I arguing?:O

What? Wii u  with two weeks of sales left , is at 651k while in 2014 was at  537k (ending up with 618k) and 715k (ending up with 898k) in 2013

Not too far either? You equate these? :O...

Pretty good Wii U numbers, though the holiday season is typically good to Nintendo.

Monster Hunter continues to amaze @_@

So it will end up 200k higher.  Big deal.  Ps4 this will be over double that gap higher than the Wii U this year.  it's not some massive number.

Again what has this to do with my original point which was pointing out its not been up every year. You're nit picking to try and argue when my point is actually a fact and not an argument. I'm not sure why you replied to me in the first place.

You do know he just said up YoY.  Not up 2015 on 2013.  YoY means this year against the previous year.  And while the PS4 may surpass Wii U next year in Japan, you have to give credit that it is rare for a console to drop one year and then go back up.  You can say it's the Splatoon effect but that's a very silly argument to make...a console increases in sales because of a great piece of software.  How exactly is that a bad thing?

I don't want to get into the whole argument but the main reason 2014 did not beat 2013 was the terrible Holiday season it had. 2013 had much better earlier months but the last few 2014 was closing the gap then the amazing Holiday deals 2013 had compared to the lack luster deals of 2014 is what did it in. A Smash Wii U / Kart 8 bundle would have made 2014 easily the peak year. The baseline's going into the holiday seasons are clear indicators as well. 2013 was falling and dropped as low as 2,5k before the amazing bundle. 2014 dropped to as low as 4k per week. 2015 had no such fall. If the Bundles were cheaper instead of increasing in Price this year 2015 would have stood a decent shot at beating 2013. This is just my opinion tho.

Don't wanna get involved in this argument, but from the post OKV first quoted:

"and that this supposed dead console only gets stronger every year."

As teeqoz said,  he claimed the console gets stronger every year.  I pointed out that it didn't and ended up going off on a tangent with tak.  Either way it's pretty obvious he made a mistake with that statement.  Hopefully we can all move on!

But SMTXFE isnt a kids game. Its rated M. Tbh it makes no sense but i hope Nintendo knows what they are doing.

It's rated CERO B.  That's between the ESRB equivelant of E10+ and T.

Oh ok that makes sense.
