I agree with his point, but yeah... that analogy was pretty tortured.

Kojima new game (now out of Konami) that is being developed with Sony support.

And they're allowing it to get ported to PC after.  He should thanking Sony. 

When you need to push an agenda or just want to be in rage these kind of silly details don't matter.

I'd like to have his back though if even just a little.  

Is it possible he didn't think he'd receive this much attention outside of his PC centric fanbase?  Maybe if he knew he'd get such publicity he would have thought it through and included all exclusives even those exclusive to PC. 

Not sure... but you can only fight so many battles at a time and you need to choose a side a lot of times. So I won't condemn he not asking PC games to go to consoles, but in this case since Sony is financing the projet and he isn't putting any money on it and to make things worse PC will get a version his post was totally out of place.

That's a good point.  We really can't defend him in this case. 

Yep. Laughing at his cancer is bad, but talking about his silly positioning shouldn't be related to his illness in any shape or form, because no illness can validate or make other be obligated to give more reverence to what you say.

Lay off a bit dude. At the moment he made these posts he didn't know that the game would come to PC, no one did. It's not a long shot to conclude that if someone gets financed by Sony that the game will be Playstation exclusive. I thought so as well when I first heard the news.

He's not pushing any agenda and he certainly will not hide facts intentionally. He doesn't need to lie to his audience, which is in the millions already. If anything he's one of the biggest advocates of ethical journalism and integrity.

And what he said is still true, all games on consoles, be it exclusive or 3rd party are way behind their potential. Better performance and sharper images are objectively better in any scenario.
