Lol memory constraints the ps4 has much enough highspeed ram that games need

Oh well of course during developement that will be the case because they'll have yet to trim down parts of the code which don't need to be constantly held in memory, that's perfectly normal for a game that will probably be launching closer to holiday season next year, will be tons of optimizing done along the way to make sure this runs as smooth as butter.

Yeah youre right im counting the days till i hold a copy of it in my hands

that's why alot of open world games like Skyrim, fallout were buggy when they released it.

Bethesda was why those games were buggy on launch heh, tis like a tradition now, but at least if you've played one of their open world games you'll learn to save often and keep a backup of it because in a world where you can do so many things, it's really not that surprising that sometimes something can mess up really badly in a gamebreaking way.

I think after Skyrims launch there was people talking about so many weird and wonderful bugs... but rarely did everyone encounter all of the same ones, was just such a giant world of wonders to see and do... and get bugged in. Too much for a testing team to really have to try to see all of before launch imo.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Moved thread to PC Discussion. Funny how I knew who was the author of the OP just by reading the title

Anyway, haven't we known for a while that FFVIIR is coming to PC? I thought that was common knowledge

But noone said anything about Final Fantasy VII Remake in this thread...

This is the part that got me confussed. I just always thought that when devs talk about Development PC's they say Devkits. But with the way it was worded the developers made it sound like they had it Running on normal PC's and was then porting from that to the PS4 instead of developing on the PS4 Devkit units (The PC's thats made by Sony for developing on the PS4). I just found it strange they would word it like that is all.. I cant really think of any other games thats being developed only for consoles that has had their devkits talked about in such a way??.

I dont want to sound harsh because you've been getting piled on already, but I think you want to see what YOU want to see. This is a Japanese dev, pretty sure it was a loose translation as this things usually are.
