I have a question: when playing online, do you see all the "lines" of your opponent? (i.e. the wiimote moves) If so, can you turn that off? Because if not, the opponent can see exactly what you're planning to do, which would ruin the entire experience for me.

I just got this as well. The Wii controls are amazing to say the least, the best move forward in sports gameplay in a very long time.

Man I really want to try this out, but I'm not a soccer fan at all. But it looks really interesting. I might rent it first so I don't waste 40 bucks on it. But at the same time...

I would say for 40 bucks it is a buy, it is just so much fun. I am not a big soccer fan, but I have enjoyed a few FIFA games in the past, but I could tell this game was gonna be awsome just by the word about the Wii controls.

I have never played PES before today either, just if you were wondering. In NA, FIFA is the main soccer game. Hopefully this will propel PES to the top of American soccer gaming.

I'd love to hear more impressions of this game as well as I am considering getting it. Specifically, how well do the controls work, and how is the online multiplayer?

This is on my list. Though by the time i get around to it PES09 will prolly be out.

I spent a lot of time with this last night; it is purchase, not rental, material for sure. The controls are amazing, you can control every player. With this you are no longer depending on your team’s computer players to be there when you need them. It really changes the entire way you play, it's a quantum leap forward in gameplay.

It's online, and you don't need friend codes to play (though you can use them to play your friends if you'd like). There is virtually no lag, and the most fun I've had with a soccer/football game in years (I'm normally not a huge fan of this type game, bought it because of the controller hype, which was a great decision)

I was not sure what to expect, I wasn't sure if Konami would bring this much inginuity to a title, and am happy they did.

This is the future of change in football/soccer games. Don't waste your time with FIFA or the 360/PS3 versions of PES this year. They are simply more of the same. This is definitely NOT more of the same. Thankfully.

Awww man, i want this game so bad...Since i'm european, it's a must buy for me. The shear fact that i can actually create plays like in real life is just damn fantastic. Not to mention online for Wii. I've been waitng some time for this option.
