What is funny is how overtracked this game is on VGChartz.

As is the first game. 

For example, Bayonetta 2 Wii U SKU has sold 182k after 14 months on the market.

After 14 months on the market, neither the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 SKU of the original Bayonetta had sold more than 182k individually. Of course when you combine numbers then of course the original had sold more when launch aligned. 

 

VGChartz has B2 way too high, and B1 is wayyyyy too high.

Really? That's your excuse? If if they waited for the price drop at November? I don't see the PS4 being almost flat YoY with their price drop.

 

Actually at e3 when they said the best line up in xbox history they were refering to 2015 and 2016.

 

They've also been calling the seperate years the "best lineup in xbox history". They just said 2015 was a great year, and 2016 will also have the great lineup in xbox history, or something like that.

I don't think you understand X1 sales did increase from last year, there was even someone here who believe it was overtracked by 200K but it wasn't the case. 

 

No I'm pretty sure they failed because their objective with this slogan and literally every other slogan etc are to sell consoles. I'm 100% sure they expected the Xbox One to be higher than 5% YoY for the month of November. They expected consumers to buy the Xbox One because it would have the "best lineup in xbox history". I'm actually not sure why anyone would think didn't fail when you say you have the best lineup in xbox history with JUST a 5% increase YoY. And I'm pretty sure you're forgetting Microsoft also launched their biggest game, Halo and that's all it did....5%. It is a failure.

Also, I didn't say the Xbox didn't increase from last year, I said it was almost flat YoY, meaning it was barely an increase, ie 5%. Just for comparison PS4 was up 85% YoY for November. 

No it's not, it did well even with tough competition, still %5 is still an increase regardless.

And on the best lineup ever... one of MS spokeperson said like 1 week ago that from the looks of things 2016 holiday will see the best lineup on xbox history.

 

It's my choice whether I or others agree with them or not, the way I see it I think 2016 will be better than 2015. Games like Gears 4, Scalebound, Quantum Break, Sea of Theives, and Crackdown 3 look to be a better lineup.

Ok it may not be a failure in your eyes but those who are rational, can see that when you call something "The Best" and launch with their biggest game and have a $50 price cut in one of the biggest shopping weeks and only bring in a 5%, that's a failure. Especially just accounting for the companies biggest product, Halo. I'm sure next November it will be down YoY.

We've seen very little of substance from most of those. I think people disagree because you're opinion is based on hopes rather than objectivity. 

 

Apart from quantum break we really need to wait to e3 to get a proper look at most of them never mind proclaim them the new best ever line up.
