I remember how i actually gave up gaming when i went 360 last gen from the Ps2.
I was feeling like something seriously was missing, not only in the exclusive department but also in the 3 party multi-plat games as well. 7th gen was horrible but had those few gems which made it sustainable. It wasn't before i jumped to Ps3 i started to have faith again because 1 exclusive after the other had what multi-plats and 360 games was missing. I am sure i am one of the few, seeing how AC, COD, BF and HALO became a household name but offered very little of new experience or adventure, it felt like the same shit over and over.. Ps2 at least offered so many games that it was hard to chose, it was easier to get something which suited all type of gamers..
Games have become a perfect example of: Make the consumers like the games we wanna make, not let consumers get the games they wanna get kinda psychology. The Music industry did it and so did fashion.. they control the media so bad that they twist people's mind into a very special mind-set.. Also we becomes the product in the end and it's sad....
