I still think the PS4 lineup is lackluster at best.
I consider myself as a nerd and fuck it I haven't even heard of 50% of the games you listed.

If those games were as big as you make it sound, there would be an audience for it. Instead I see you crossing fingers that it even gets located in the West, otherwise you would import it from Japan.

When you are looking for blockbuster games than there is Uncharted 4, Horizon and maybe GT Sports. RC, Street Fighter are nice additions as well. On the other hand there are Quantum Break, Scalebound, Gears of War 4, Crackdown 3, Halo Wars 2 and games we don't know much about just yet (ReCore, Sea of thieves).

I agree that 2016 looks better than 2015 for PS4, but that was a very easy achievement.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

X1 has some good games lined up. Should be interesting next year

You totally lack of objectivity, a better list of blockbusters ( games that could easily reach 1M and if you think Scalebound and Quantum Break are one of them , so there is few more to add to PS4 )

PS4 :

Uncharted 4

Ratchet

SF V

Persona 5 ( oh yeah this one will reach 1M so easily)

Gran Turismo Sport

Gravity Rush 2 ( this one will easily outsell Scalebound for example, be realistic, look at the sales of japanese games on X1 and even X1 exclusives, and look at the sales of Gravity Rush 1 on a console being a disaster ( in sales),  still it reached almost 600k on Vita, it will reach 2 times that on a successful console like the PS4 , while Scalebound will be lucky to reach 600k )

Horizon

Nier Automata ( putting Scalebound but not Nier ...Lol, there is no word for this. Plus in term of sales, this one will also easily outsell Scalebound )

+ Many other exclusives that could possibly reach 1M like Dreams( we shouldnt forget LBP success), Wild, Rime, Ninokuni 2 ( if out in 2016, it will easily outsell most X1 exclusives), Detroit

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Strange because in my own opinion I find Xbox having a much more varied range of games coming in 2016 compared to Sony. Sure Uncharted will be good but it really ends there for me.

You do know that at the end of this generation both consoles will be sitting on similar numbers right, just like last generation. There will be too many good games on both to boycott in the end.

If by "blow away" you mean barely lead the X1 in sales here in the US while continuing to dominate Europe which is Sony land by default and Japan where M$ is non-existent, then yes, the PS4's lineup will totally blow away the X1's in 2016...

...even though if you swap out a handful of AAA exclusives and some indie titles, both consoles have nearly identical software libraries.

And despite touting the strength and quality of Sony's 1st party lineup, 3rd party multiplatform titles will still continue to dominate the sales charts and move the most hardware for the PS4 which has become this generation's "dude bro shooterbox", as Sony fans so lovingly enjoyed labeling the 360 last gen.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Aren't most of the PS4's heavy hitters in 2016 also coming to PC? Street Fighter is. No Man's Sky is. Nier has a chance. I'm drawing a blank when it comes to other PS4 exclusives that are launching next year. FF7 *might* drop next year, but that's not an exclusive. Keep in mind MS has a Remedy and Platinum game launching next year. Those two will be very high scoring games, as guaranteed as Uncharted 4 being good. It's stupid to sleep on any of the Big 3.

Most? Two is most? Uncharted, GTS, Horizon, R&C, TLG...

Remedy and Platinum are as likely to make a high scoring game as Naughty Dog?

Remedy hasn't released a big game since 2010 and haven't had a really high scoring game since 2003.

And Platinum?  The scores for Platinums last 5 games are as follows.

They've made some great games, but they are far from a consistently great developer.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

In all likelihood, ps4 will have the better lineup. It will continue to dominate sales. But if a person buys an Xbox One, they won't regret it. Both will have more games than a gamer can play and maybe, just maybe the games will cater to its particular audience. People will have to choose for themselves.

I've seen people people who compare console exclusives but only buy a couple of games or mostly multi-plats. What good are twenty exclusives to a guy that will only play two of them? If console A has 10 exclusives and you buy five or console B has 20 exclusives and you buy five, the number is less important.

You guys don't get exhausted of making these kind of threads?

Yeah, the xbox will be blown away, fall of a cliff, eat by a dinosaur and then pooed in a volcano. Microsoft is doomed.

Both consoles have very good line ups for next year. If you were videogames lover you would be full of expectations about games like QB or Scalebound, hoping they ends to be great additions to our hobby, not hoping they sell less and be low scored than other games.

The worst of all is trying to fight the "Sony has no games" creating and awful trend like "MS is losing, they won't get any exclusive anymore, Xbone is doomed". I can't believe some people here are hoping that a console that more than 17M people already bought and are enjoying, to fail.

They need to suffer that in their own flesh some day.

Tim and The Princes...

Unless you crave jrpgs I don't see how PS4's next year's lineup "blows away" X1's lineup.

Next year will be huge for both consoles but one will have more titles and that is fact. Which one will have the best games is all opinion nothing more.

Let's say you buy a console for shooters... how is PS4 better exacltly?

Racing you get GT Sports while X1 gets maybe Forza Horizon 3 you pick what you like.

Action adventure you get Horizon, Uncharted 4 while X1 gets Quantum Break and Gears 4 two new IPs and two big sequels.

There are other games that might attract potential buyers like Nier, Gravity Rush 2, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, Street Fighter 5, Recore, Fable Legends, Scalebound, Ace Combat 7, Halo Wars 2, etc...

Both will get indies but again, more doesn't mean better so we'll see.

Multiplats are in favor of PS4 unless you prefer Xbox Live and the controller but ehh.

When I look at it, they both are in good competition.
