Those numbers for Super Metroid are accurate from what I know. I recall seeing old sales data on NeoGaf showing Super Metroid with very soft sales numbers in it's first few months in America. It's kind of crazy that a game that has many times been called the best ever ended up with mediocre sales worldwide. That probably has a good deal to do with the large gap between Super Metroid and Metroid Prime/Fusion. It also could be (partially)why Metroid's sales in Japan have been so poor since the series returned.

@Sherlock99 - The original Metroid Prime sold 2.8 million units. MP3 won't surpass that.

@--okey dokey-- - It will however surpass Super Metroid. MP3 has a price cut coming at some point and more holidays to gain sales.

It could pass metroid prime if they brought out a 'platinum' style range of games. I think a lot of people are interested in this game, but not commited to it: and it sounds like their wont be a sequal for quite some time. wii sales are still massive.

I'm interested but also i don't know if i will like it, since i'm lefty FPS ain't my best genre of games on Wii, for me point with the right hand is slow

Can't you pint with your left? You can swop which hand you hold the remote/nunchuck in.

Lol, yes, you can just swap hands. That's the beauty of the Wii-mote/Nun-chuck set up, it's ambidextrous.

I really don't think that you would have a problem if you just switched the remote/nunchuck. I don't believe that there is a swappable function, but I know you can swap jump/shoot.

I think that you should definitely buy it...but maybe you should try renting or borrowing it from someone, first.

This is certainly a case for getting that Player's Choice back for the Wii. There are so many great games out there that no one has played yet because they don't want to plop down $50 for a game they're not sure will be their cup of tea. For me that would be games like Medal of Honor, Trauma Center, and ExciteTruck (I've rented it for a total of $30....so I need it to come down to justify my purchase:o)....)
