$30 is a rip-off. For that I at least expect to be able to access our ps4 world on WiiU and/or cross-play support.

No its very much true.  launch wii u games still going for ridiculous standard prices.  You cant use a deal as an example. 

 

Battlefield 4 launched on ps4 and of 2013,  long after many wii u games that are still very high could be got for $18 last month.  And that's the premium edition.  $100 worth of content along with many free updates.  

Battlefield 4 is the best warfare shooter on consoles so far this gen.  If Nintendo made it and it was wii u exclusive they'd be selling the vanilla game for $40 at least.  

 

And I see you brought up evolve.  The whole package can be bought for nothing.  Playstation and xbox have sufficient competition between the games so they dont get ripped off if they don't want.  Prices always dramatically drop.  

That's because Nintendo games are still great even 1 year after their release. After one year is passed and a new fps with better graphics is released, Battlefield is worth nothing :)


Battlefield is still played daily by a lot of people.  the fact is it's got big competition so publishers can't be greedy and rip off their customers.

Great! Now all I need is a time machine! And go back 3 or 4 years so Minecraft would be fresh again!

I fail to see how pricing $50-60 for MK8 or Splatoon is "ripping off costumers." Those games are still quality, still pretty new, and still the newest games in their respective series.

That is why you won't see games such as Call of Duty in the west or Monster Hunter in Japan retaining their value. The market is flooded with them.

Well not a bad month for the U, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fast Racing Neo, Minecraft, Steamworld Heist and Angry Video Game Nerd, could be worse.

Long overdue, and overpriced to boot. What exactly is the incentive to buy this for Wii U when it's available on just about every other platform for less?

Also, in my humble opinion, one of the most overrated games in history.

Perhaps different game experience, given that it will utilize wii u's tablet controller which  have off-tv/screen play feature! :P

I've been asking that every time it shows up on a new platform.  It's insane that it continues to get sales every time it goes to a new platform.
