Of course, making it exclusive would be deadly. But including the game with the system might be the way to convince those undecided.

Oh definitely, I can see that being a reason to grab one, especially since OB didn't really do all that well on last gen but on PC/SM it could do quite well.

Well, Valve has to sell those Steam Machines somehow, and a system seller like HL3 might be the key. Maybe you get a free HL3 copy with your Steam Machine?

Maybe giving a copy with the machines would be neat but making it exclusive to those machines/OS is a sure fine way to greatly piss off the fanbase.

Not even possible, much less reasonable.

A PC game exclusive to just a few PCs? lol

Not exclusive to the Steam Machines, it would be avalible on all  devices that have Steam. But if you buy the SteamBox, you get a free copy of the game, as an incentive to get the hardware.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Please don't play with my dreams.

It's definitely going to happen, just like with Crash!

In the name of god, please don't mess with my brain. D:

I am wondering if a game of the quality and scale neccesary to live up to it's predecessors is even possible to make.

It could be in a infinite loop where development takes so long that it can never can keep up with the progression of the hardware avaliable.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Yeah this is the deal that seems reasonable to a degree, it would also be nice if Steam users got like a 10% discount or something extra included with TF2.

Nope.

But maybe Half Life 2.75 or something :p
