Zelda U does have more mainstream appeal than WW, but not by a whole lot. Those factors will all be balanced out by it being toon, likely poor advertising, and the general decline in Nintendo's popularity and relevance.

I give you direct comparison with WW and ZeldaU, and ZeldaU is in advantage in any sense, but you despite all those facts that I wrote, you expecting same sales!?

Not the same, probably a bit more thsan WW on account of its more mainstream art style and the fact that open world games are hot right now, but in the same ballpark, rather than in the 8-9 million league of Twilight Princess and Ocarina. I suppose only time will tell.

But again you totally ignoring fact that probably will be launch title for NX, that will affect greatly on sales.

Hardcore fans will buy it regardless of its art style. But mainstream gamers prefer "serious" graphics to cartoon graphics, as you have already admitted and as the weekly sales charts prove. Appealing only to a fanbase that can support 4-5 million sales is foolish when you can reach wider and sell better.

Your problem is that you are only thinking of what you want, rather than  what the market wants, which is Nintendo's problem also.

Hardcore will probably buy it regardless, but not everybody will be satisfied.I also said that not mainstream gamers don't want only "serious" graphics (I already mentioned to you examples). No, its not appeling to fanbase that can support 4-5 million sales if Zelda U is also NX launch title and great Zelda game, we are talking here about similar TP numbers.

Of Course I thinking what I want (same like you), Nintendo is thinking what people that buying their product wants and that's good thing, you constantly saying like that is bad thing but its not.

I'm not talking about what I want though. I like Zelda U's art style. I like it a lot. But I am divorcing my personal preferences from this and talking about what the market wants.
You can list as  many minority examples as you want, but the sales speak for themselves. In an average weekly sales chart, 8-10 of the top 10 have realistic/dark graphics. Of the top 5 selling games of this generation so far, not one has cartoon graphics.

And the Best Zelda sellers neither have cartoon graphics. Anyway, the good reception for Zelda HD is nothing compared to the excitement that Twilight Princess had.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I'm pretty sure the best selling games of this generation on a single console all have cartoony graphics though ;)

Pokémon X/Y, Pokémon ORAS, Super Mario 3D Land, Animal Crossing, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Mario Kart 7 & 8, etc.

I'm not ignoring that. Given that Nintendo's popularity in the console space has sunk to an all time low, I consider it unlikely that NX will be a big success. Being a launch title for it would help a bit, but to reach Twilight Princess sales, Zelda U would need a more mainstream style and better marketing.

Well after Wind Waker people thought Nintendo was going to stick to the cell shaded style, when TP was shown off that 'fear' was gone, we really don't how the hype for Zelda Wii U yet because other then The Game Awards 2014, it never was shown to people in person yet, and the fact that we haven't seen much footage yet and we still don't even have a legit trailer yet might have something to do with it.

From what I see Zelda Wii U has great hype so far and we will be able to see it at E3 2016.

Again, WW was launch on GC, if NX really is unified platform definitely it will be more successful than GC. So you said your self, more mainstream art style, fact that open world games are hot right now, being launch title, also fact that game is looking beautiful and that is hyped (especially in comparison with WW), with all this you expecting that will sell just bit more than WW was sold on GC!?

I dont agree for need for mainstream style, I think needs to have great and beatiful art style like it does. Also of course that Zelda U will have huge marketing, not only its biggest Nintendo project ever it's also 30th anniversary of Zelda, almost whole year there will be huge hype about Zelda.

Saying all that, if Zelda U is launching on Wii U and NX, I expecting sales for Zelda U in range around 1-3m for Wii U and 4-7m in range for NX.

Once again; Zelda U is not a hyped game except among Wii U owners. Nobody else cares about it.

It is extremely unlikely that NX will sell well enough to allow for 7 million Zelda sales when it's coming at a time when Nintendo's popularity and relevance in the console space is perhaps the lowest it's been since they joined in the mid 80s.

Not true, lotsa people who dont have Wii U are talking about Zelda U, I just keep seeing comments from people that are not Nintendo fans who saying they passed Wii U but they will buy NX and ZeldaU, also evre little info we have about Zelda is becoming news in evre gaming media. Of Course that Zelda U cant have hype like some multiplatform game, but same we can say for any Nintendo game or an exclusive game.

I wrote 4-7m where is 7m is highest that Zelda U can achieve on NX not that 7m is what more likely that will be achieved, 5.5m is middle of 4-7m. I expcting that NX will be much more popular and relevance in the console space than Wii U was.

Exclusives can have hype. Uncharted 4 is getting a lot of hype, but then Sony's not starving people of material on it the way Nintendo is starving people of Zelda U material.

And why would people run out in hordes to buy NX after the disaster that the Wii U has been? People will be hesitant to buy another Nintendo system for fear they'll get another short lifespan full of droughts.

Offcourse they can, but again U4 cant have same hype like Batman, F4, Metal Gear, Star Wars or some difrent multipla game. And thats my point, Zelda U is hyped even Nintendo showed so little about game, imagine hype when we will see real trailer or real gameplay, espacily in 30th anniversary year.

Nobody will not buy NX if Nintendo make so many similar mistakes like they done with Wii U, but perception is that NX will be better console and much more appealing and much more attractive console than Wii U was, and frankly that wouldnt be hard to achieve at all because Wii U was blood mess, also people are very hyped about NX and not just Nintendo fans.
