Work in progress, but still groovy

Increase the FOV MS and I will be on board! I would love to have games projected on any surface and at a huge size.

Field of View ruins the product for me. It would be the equivalent of holding my cellphone in front of my face in camera mode. Immersion cock block!

I think what you meant was "immersion cock tease"...

the screen resolution must not suffer through.

If your tv screen can do 1080p, you want the same experiance in sharpness on the hololens.

It becomes unnoticeable at certain points though. The sharpness of the image at lower sizes can be preserved without worrying much regarding resolution. If MS can start mass producing this, they might be the killer app the XONE needs...

Agreed. But imagine the hololens blocking out everything in the room visually and just showing a huge screen with some massive action :).

I still don't really get AR...I mean, it's just a normal game played on a fake screen. It's pretty much just a futuristic version of remote play.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Too many gimicks, VR headsets, 3D, motion controlls, AR, amibos, second screens. I seriously liked it way more when everyone was 100% about making games for my box and I would just grab my controller sit down and have fun.
