Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Pachter is a Hater

Maybe he just thinks Nintendo often makes poor business decisions?

Around the Network

Maybe so, and if so he runs on hate. If we hate him, he's only gonna become more hateful. Just quit talking about him and acknowledging him and maybe he'll disappear.

I don't think so. He was right to say that a new Wii HD needed to come in 2011, 2012 was too late and Wii U is not a Wii HD.

Also, he has another perspective, something pretty different from people here. In this forum we play to imagine us as bussiness men, but in reality many of us would be killed in that area.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Everybody seems to forget that he has been right about Nintendo a lot of times.

This is just weird, because most of us are against a lot of things that Nintendo has done since the Wii. But when Pachter says it, he's a hater.

Grow up people.

It's that if you have followed enough stuff that he's said about Nintendo, he's only right about the blatantly obvious stuff regarding Nintendo. How's the old saying go "that even a broken watch is right twice a day" that's Pachter. He's been more wrong than right when it comes to Nintendo and he felt Amiibos were going to be a flop and that the Vita was going to take major market share away from the 3ds. None of that happened though!

I think he wants them to make him a quick buck in short term decisions. Hes an investor himself i think

Nintendo was the master of short term decisions last generation. Look where they are now.

He's been wrong so many times that I'm starting to believe he's actually a comedian.

He was positive about the 2DS.

"blatantly obvious stuff", It's easy to say that now after the facts. For every little thing he said, he got tons of shit, and now that he was right, it was "blatantly obvious". Not that obvious for Nintendo and Nintendo fans apparently.

And yes, he was wrong a lot of times too, but that's just how it works, not even the best analyst on earth isn't right all the time. Just watch his show Pach Attack, you'll see that he is far from being a hater or dumb.

Having your predictions come true is a pretty valid reason to want a company to fail.
