Never thought this would happen. The Fallout series has long been vastly popular on the Microsoft consoles when compared to the Sony consoles going back to Fallout 3 in 2008. Even though Ps4 sales are skyrocketing, I always knew Fallout 4 on Xbone would indeed outsell it's Ps4 counterpart in the US and possibly globally. 

I was mistaken. 

Is this the end of Xbone? If it can't even beat a Ps4 version of a multiplat game that's WIDELY been way more popular on it's consoles compared to Sony....

and, have you ever heard about Rise of the tomb raider?. Yes, you are right. It is another EXCLUSIVE (one year almost) for xbox one.

I don't think it was that far beyond the reach of reality to assume that the PS4 version would sell more. You know, since the PS4 has like double the install base and everything. And even in just the US, the PS4 is still leading by a decent margin. So, it makes sense.

Really? You are surprised? The Witcher 3 sold 3 times as much on PS4 as on XBO worldwide, 50% more in North America, despite The Witcher 1 and 2 being exclusive to the Xbox and the Xbox 360, respectively. And Fallout 4 on PS4 edging out the XBO version in the US surprises you? I'm not surprised at all, and it hardly means the end for the XBO. In fact I suspected the gap to be bigger, despite it having Xbox marketing. Hopefully NPD we'll get some pretty precise numbers from NPD, to check if VGC's numbers are up to snuff.

If you want to think that...sure. Happened with Witcher 3, so this shouldn't be a surprise. Sony is reclaiming their 2nd home away from home(the 1st home away from home is Europe).
