ok, so let's be completely fair on this description then:

The PS3, which has been available for six months in USA and Japan, and only two months in Europe, has sold the same amount that the PS2 did available in six months in Japan. And the PS3 is selling at a lower rate worldwide right now than the PS2 sold at in Japan 6 months after launch.

To even think that the PS3 is doing anywhere as successful as the PS2 is ludicrous.

2) I never said that the Xbox360 had a good launch, it had a terrible launch, it is stagnating, and it is looking like it will fail. Even so, the PS3 and the 360 are even in sales after 6 months, but the PS3 is selling at a lower rate than the xox did at the same point in it's lifecycle. So if you see that graph in one month time you'll see the PS3 line dip below the 360 line. Even so, it doesn't matter, because the 360 launch was terrible. The only thing that may save the 360 was the fact that it had a year to get its act together, the PS3 had no such time and it had to get its act together QUICKLY. This is failed to do, and the simple fact is it's selling like crap (which I see you still haven't admitted, despite constantly bringing up the $600 price).

NEWS FLASH! of course the price is the problem. And it will be a problem for the entire generation. It will never cease being a problem, and Sony will never cease to have disappointing sales.
