Would be nice to have this type of feature.. but the 3DS definitely has a lot of Demos to try out before purchasing

Do you know what's wrong with your title? Well it's....

Personally, I almost always know what I want. Those tiny xbla demos swayed me a couple of times--mostly because I had no idea what the game was about. With high profile games, I don't use them. I prefer to go in fresh.

I did play the last couple of Forza demos and came away quite impressed but not impressed enough to buy the games (though I did get both Horizon games at super low prices).

there are still demos in the Xbox one store. I actually just got around to uninstalling some the other day to free up space. But I also agree with others, demos hurt sales, many a game I intended to buy the demo changed my mind. To me that is a good thing, but I imagine to publishers it isn't.

Whats mising is game-gifting

Yeah I can't believe this is missing, a win-win situation surely.

Only thing I can think of is that Sony/MS don't want GTA being gifted to ten year old, parents find out and get rid of the console maybe.

When refunds are made out to your PSN wallet instead of credit card, being able to spend the money on others instead of letting it sit there, or buyig games you wouldn't have otherwise, loses them money.

Yup... that and digital games like Mrs. Pac-Man, Frogger... stuff like that. Last generation was superior as far as digital games go imo.

They're missing the option to gift a game/purchase to a friend on your friends list. That's what I'd like to see.

There's actually a demo app on Xbox One that keeps your demos in a hub. I only used it once, though. Then I unpinned it. If I'm going to spend my limited time playing a game, it's going to be a full game.

Even the free NBA 2K16 weekend (this weekend) or EA Access wasn't enough for me to give it a try. I prefer to own my games outright.

Imo Horizon 2 is a shining example of how to do a demo, I wasn't considering buying it until I tried the demo, and ended up preordering. My best time on Xbox One was playing that game.

PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One

Demos cost the game developers money. No reason for them to make them.
