We all know that Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash has many problems. It doesn't have firend lobbies, minigames, theme stadiums, a tournament mode, no intro and now ring or item battles.

The game got mediocre to horrible scores and is currently sitting at 61 on metacritic - the lowest score in the franchise history.

Many people said that they won't buy this rushed game because it lacks on content.

Just think about it: if Nintendo would deliver the mssing content, those people will buy the game -> more sales.

Also keep in mind that this game has probably sold terribly.

So do you think Nintendo will fix the problems the game obviously has?

It was a rushed game no one asked for made just to fill out the library a smidge and make a quick buck. I would be really surprised if Nintendo cared about it at any point in the future.

Yeah, Nintendo is going to fix that game! They are also going to launch the NX with Galaxy 3, Zelda U, F-Zero and Metroid Prime 4.

The game had an update when I downloaded it today, so maybe future content is planned.

I voted "Yes, with free DLC", but i gotta honest with you, this game is kinda rushed.

No

This game is awfully rushed and woefully lacks content or even any kind of coherent design idea, because lets face it, 'lets make them all huge' doesn't really cut it.
I had fully expected Nintendo to announce free update support a la Splatoon for it, but they seem intent on sending it out there to die.

It was a budget title to begin with so I don't really see it happening..

They probably will patch and fix things up or two, but I don't think there will be anything major

It got a software update? Why didn't I read that anywhere?

Nintendo has quietly shifted development to their next console so, I don't see it happening. The reason we're seeing so many struggles software wise is because they've put their best work and best people on games that will launch or release first year.

I think StarFox is the last huge IP we'll see for Wii-U. After that, Zelda will be cross generation like TP.
