I already have the Wii version- I don see what is gong to be that different other than slightly upgraded graphics

I can understand people who have not played the game previously being excited but I don t see why people who have played the Wii or Gamecube version would want to buy it again for the wii u

The Wii version of TP is preferable to the Gamecube version for me.

Aiming with the pointer was much nicer than aiming with an analogue stick. The whole left-handed/right-handed East/West thing is utterly inconsequential to me, I couldn't care less about it.

This comment wins the thread for me. I really hope Nintendo gives the player an option to play TP:HD with Wii controls, although I won't be devastated if they don't. And yeah, I really don't get the people complaining about the flipped world. So the desert is in the East, whoopty-feakin-do.

Well, the mirrored world does matter when you consider that the world is supposed to be the Ocarina of Time world.  The mirroring messes that up a bit, in all fairness.

Already have it pre-ordered

Yes, for that Amibo and that was favorite Zelda aside from OoT.

Twilight Princess is my least favorite 3D-Zelda game...and though it looks sharper in HD, the art style was something I found pretty off-putting in the original game, and that looks be unchanged.

That being said...the original game is still a 9/10 in my eyes...and I'm a big enough Zelda fan that I can't see myself skipping it permenantly. I probably won't get it immediately...but definitely at some point down the line. I suppose I'm a confusing guy. :P

When the price is right. I grudgingly spent $40 on Wind Waker (got some 20% off eShop cards), and that was a massive upgrade. Twilight Princess is my favorite game ever, but it's going to have to be decently cheap considering how little it looks like they're doing with the graphics.

Nah, it doesn't look much better, where I live it'll remain forever at full price and I don´t even have a Wii U

EDIT: Sorry for the double post

No, for the same reason I didn't buy the original.

Okay i understand but saying you don't buy games for better graphics could be a bit harsh because some games are really good but they are also unplayable due to the games not aging well graphic wise, so by gaming a game for graphics is like a way for one to enjoy the same game even more and the game to also look good and run well.

I'm puzzled as to why you brought up FF7 Remake, as if it's somehow comparable.

Square Enix has made it very clear that the remake will be very different from the original, both in Story and in design, that's not really in the same line of a new paintjob (tp wiiu), just as it isn't in the same line of uncharted collection and so on, not to mention that TP is a pseudo last gen game (GC/Wii), FF7's release was three generations ago.

Also, saying a peudo last gen game is unplayable simply because of the graphics, especially on a Nintendo system, makes zero sense to me, If you were a PC gamer i'd chalk it down to either "doesnt run anymore because of OS changes" or "graphics snobbery", but for a Console gamer, a Nintendo one at that, calling twilight princess unplayable because of the graphics leaves me genuinely baffled.
