I can see we'll just go in circles here.
I'll just answer one bit. I was referring to the Steamspy numbers for Trails in the Sky Second Chapter. They are horrible. A well done PC port where the release of the game was held back to release at the same time as the handheld version.

So basically you're summing up very sketchy and rough data or a port on another platform and equating it for every other game and every other dev worth out there?.
Just because you think it sold bad doesn't mean it sold bad, that's up to the devs in question, look at SE for example, they thought the TR reboot sold poorly and they got blasted for having over the top expectations and eventually they were happy with the numbers after some time. Who is to say the numbers stop there with the game you used a 3rd party for?, afaik games on PC continue to sell for years and years, they don't just suddenly stop dead in their tracks or stop like they do with consoles after a peroid of time.
I do understand what you are getting at but really it can go both ways and I know very well that you wouldn't like it going both ways since it would mean your platform getting more scrwewed than mine, I am merely wanting to get the same treatment than none at all and NIS are wanting to test the waters and I want what's best for them and for the market in general, which is to say don't fuck it up, don't outsource your first ever job towards a new market.
Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see
