Oh that's interesting. I didn't know that Nintendo is publishing so many third party games.

Those aren't all third party games. That's dependent on who owns the IP. The only third party game is project treasure. Mario and sonic and SMTxFE may be second party depending on how they split the IP (I imagine 50/50). The rest are definitely first party games. You won't see platinum having the ability to move Starfox to other consoles, because they don't own the IP.

Next year may be the worst yet (excluding launch year).

Starfox looks horrendous and will probably not sell well. Pokken tournament will probably do as well as hyrule warriors (both spin offs). Mario and sonic bombed last time so I expect the same to happen. SMTxFE is niche and will probably sell similar to bayonetta 2. Project treasure is digital and free so we can't track that, nor should we. Twilight princess hd is not as game changing as wind waker hd, but I would expect it to have similar sales. Zelda U will probably not have the same influence in sales as mario kart 8 or smash U or Mario 3d world.

I don't know... maybe? But only because of other games' legs. The only game that could sell really well would be Zelda U but as it's probably going to be also in NX its sales will be less.

How much are we expecting those games to sell?
Star Fox 1-1,5m
Zelda TP HD 2m
Zelda U 4m
Mario and Sonic 1-1,5m
Pokken 2-3m
SMTxFE 1,5-2m
I'm absolutely no expert in sales predictions, but looking at other wii u games I would expect those games to sell this. Do you think any of those games could become a big hit?

I think naturally Next year will be its software peak. Mario Kart, Splatoon and Smash Bros are gonna keep selling respectable levels alongside the new titles. Based on new releases alone I don't think next year will be a peak though

We're talking about third party studios. None of those companies are second party. AlphaDream is second party and so is HAL Laboratory. Why? Because they're not owned by Nintendo, but make games exclusively for them.

If Nintendo didn't think they'd need third parties then why would they collaborate so often with them? Why is this so hard to understand for some?

All those games are first party games because Nintendo owns them (so they're not second party games like Banjo-Kazooie used to be during the N64 days), but they're made by THIRD PARTY STUDIOS.
