For a game like this it does make sense. But I do feel they're going to start re-reviewing a lot of games in the near future that don't actually need it.

IGN always had a policy of not re-reviewing things after an initial review and they would defend ferociously their own and other collegues reviews.

However Splatoon is now among the editors' most favorite games now. So I think there's a consensus among all of them that Splatoon now deserves a higher score.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
