Dude, it makes sense to me (what you said in your original post). That's very weird indeed. I wonder if it's a weird bug with their database. Did you check the other 26 games to see what their scores were? Maybe you'll find that that 94.6 score hadn't taken effect yet across the board.

I mean come on, review numbers are at best guidelines. Aggregated ones like that turn into complete bullshit and you are investing definitely too much thinking into it.
