those are good scores, i cant believe people complain when their nintendo games dont get a 100%!

Good scores, I didn't expect them. Nintendo power isn't as biased as everyone expects them to be, honestly, dunno about official nintendo mag UK, but I've seen NP roast some pretty big releases.
Hope it ends up good. Think IGN has already made up their mind though, most likely 7.8 or something, but Gamespot is where the important review comes from anyway, disgraced or not, then and Edge magazine.

I have a feeling this will be a mid-80's game and not mid-90's like Brawl. Won't stop me from picking it up and enjoying it thoroughly, though

No one can. That is why I usually trust user reviews a lot more than professional reviews.

Anyone who thinks a 10 on a 10 point scale indicates a perfect game is an idiot.
An 11 on a 10 point scale would be a perfect game.

eurogamer: 80
games master uk: 91
nintendo mag uk: 94
ngamer uk: 88
Keep in mind none of those reviews were able to do anything with online since the servers aren't up yet, so they're all reviewing an incomplete game in order to try and get a scoop. ;>
so far the review seem very strong, I doupt it will finish above 90%, but for a MK game to be above 85% is very good.

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
