Why not both?
Will be interesting if this will have Minecraft Amiibo. That could sell a few thousands of Wii U (most kids will just buy it as a toy).

Not sure if the Wii U version will do good enough being so late in the system life.

Eh, it did well enough on Vita. I think the audience is there on Wii U. Would also help Story Mode sell better most likely.

From my understanding, the Wii U version of Minecraft Story mode runs on Minecraft's engine. So, it's not going to be a huge effort to bring it to the Wii U. If it sells 1-200,000 units it'd probably break even.

People have been bringing these guys up for forever and I haven't paid it any mind. If this is what they were doing than it's better than what I assumed they were doing: nothing.
Very interesting, if not a little late though. I wonder if the developers of that Minecraft knockoff are taking this news?

If it catches in Japan like the Vita version it could do well, since Wii U has a bigger influence in NA as well.
