It is weird that the two members who are surprised by this the most are the two members who post on Amazon thread and believe on it the most!

When Sony announced the pricecut:

"Haha, sony is gonna destroy MS, even with Halo, come on, 3 weeks of pricecut Vs 1 Week of Halo."

When MS wins after all:

"Meh, MS only won by 30k, with ONE WHOLE WEEK OF HALO!!!, they won only because Sony didn't drop the price a week earlier! And UC Collection bundle won over Halo Bundle being ONLY 150$ DOLLARS CHEAPER!!!"

In the real world:

Halo was underwhelming, the franchise seems like it's not what it was anymore, even if still sold well and move hardware.

The reaction of the consumers about the PS4 pricecut is underwhelming as well.

Halo 4 had the whole month of November. Release date November 6, 2012

Halo 3  did sell better but this can be down to timing Given halo 3 was released in late September and Halo 5 was released in late October with lots of Triple AAA games dropping around the same time.

November will be a much better gauge for Xbox and games.

Majority of my Xbox One friends buy digital so I'm assuming software is much higher, I think Digital is a much larger trend than people think. Maybe why this site doesn't want to keep numbers anymore, it's impossible to track.

To add to Murphs and Stings comment the Uncharted bundle seems to be most bundle/console mostly available to retailers. I haven't really seen the standard PS4 console by itself, so people were most likely had to purchase the Uncharted PS4 console which is why it sold to most.
