So this is what inspires Nintendo to reuse the Princess Peach/Zelda/Toadette is kidnapped plot.

All kidding aside, this is terrible. I hope the sister gets returned but I think story is quite old so she may have been returned already.

Come on, I am certain that there is something to the story, but I doubt it is that sensational and frequent as they claim...

The quote is specifically referring to the arcade business. Sony isn't in arcades. I don't think Square is either. This claim could also be based on the state of things 20 years ago, when the events in question took place, so maybe it isn't like that now.
