Forums - Gaming - Bethesda are crap, they need a new engine and team.

They should...

...take time to polish an... 72 32.00%

...wait for Modders to fi... 20 8.89%

...changes their engine, ... 133 59.11%

Total:225

Well the reason why Witcher 3 is going to be done on a smaller budget is because Bethesda is American and CD Projekt is Polish where they can get away with paying their employees far less.

That aside, they really need to just toss that engine and start over. The games can't stay this broken.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

It's already new engine since November 2011, a Skyrim engine AKA Creation Engine, and they started development AFTER Skyrim released, as far as i know they have id Software's engine.

Yeah, Bethesda Core Team is shit because instead of making us do the same side mission fifteen times they actually put effort and time into making every quest unique - with the ocassional heavy fetching -, with personality and entertaining difficult challenges.

Yeah, Bethesda Core Team is shit because they give us an expansive world full of interesting loot and locations - with the ocassional filler and drag - mixed with some interesting NPCs and enemies to be found.

Yeah, Bethesda Core Team is shit because they managed to translate a world as unique as Fallout to 3D without losing an ooze of its charm.

Yeah, Bethesda Core Team is shit because they try their best to make a game as memorable and timeless as they can.

Sorry if I can forgive a game being ugly because of everything I said.

Ah, yes, the game that has broken quests which are impossible to beat and has gotten progressively worse with certain patches.

And on The Witcher 3's defense, the game is amazing. So yeah, you're kinda agreeing with me here.

Just out of curiosity, what Bethesada games have you played that ticked you off so much?

I've been playing their games since mid 90s and TES: Daggerfall, and sure, they do have some technical problems, and no, they are not best open-world RPGs, but for what they aim to do, they do it fairly good...to be blatantly honest, it helps if you're actually fan of the genre, and not someone who jumped onto FO3/Skyrim hype train.

(oh, the irony of me defending Bethesda)

IMO performance>gameplay>graphics.

Lets be honest, without good performance, you can't have good gameplay.
