(User gets Shipment info from Nintendo, i have been following his thread for awhile now!)

Yes, a huge decline from the previous game but glad DK kept on trucking for awhile! Gooooooo DK... Donkey Kong!

Nice. Typical Nintendo A class evergreen stuff, even if it's not on the MK level. And Nintendo titles frequently hold their value for a long time.

I think this is a decent sign that the classic DK formula may be getting stale. I'd love to see the 3D DK route attempted again. Not as a collectathon nightmare like DK64 was. I don't mind a collectathon, but it would just need to be handled better. Otherwise there are all kinds of opportunities that come with transitioning back to 3D.

This game is a nice bet to be ported to NX.

yea we knew it was overtracked a long time ago on vgc, seems to have shown some legs to catch up a bit.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Update: from gaf user...

I'm done with updating the spreadsheet but I'm too tired to update OP now (I will update the old data as December 2014, the rest will still be until March 2015).
Will do in a few days.

DKCTF LTD as December 2014 = 1.12M

Nah, it has more to do with the platform it's on rather than the game itself. If this was on a console with a large user base it would be over 3 million by now.

Well if could potentially have success if ported to another platform. Perhaps 3DS or its successor.

Of course, I'm a firm believer in the next console and handheld sharing a unified library for like 99% of releases.
