Once the Steam machines and NX release, will Graphics and Visuals still be a talking point for this generation? I notice alot of gamers shut up when PC, 4k and 60 frames gets mentioned. Fans are happy to speak up when we hear debates about 900p vs 1080p. Is it still revlavent now that Steam machines are going to out perform the XB1 and PS4? Maybe even the NX?
Once the XB1 and PS4 become outdated and out muscled which is very soon, will gamers still care about the visuals? Iv play on all systems and my PC is my main gaming machine, i have played The Order and Halo 5 and both look gorgeous however knowing that there are machines out there that can do even better would that put you off the games?
As a gamer in the late 80s, visuals will always improve, i have seen when Sega tryed to out muscle Nintendo with Blast Processing, iv seen Sony say the same with the PS2's Emotion Engine and PS3's Cell, i now see the same with XB1's Cloud and PS4s GDDR5 ram. In many cases we have seen this gen that the best looking games *Cough Ryse, Order Cough* are poor games with nothing but visuals to carry there sales. I did prefer Forza Horizon 2 over DriveClub based again off gameplay and fun factor (Opinion)
Will Graphics still be a talking point? For me, No it wouldnt because some of the best games iv played looked no where near the best for example World Of Warcraft, a game thats been on the shelf for 10 years and still holds up as the best MMO to this day and it looks prehistoric compared to other games or L4D which looks no where near as good as Dead Island or Dying Light but its fun factor and gameplay still holds up today. I even choose Halo 4 over Crysis 3 (PC) for two main reasons, Gameplay and Story. I wonder how many gamers think the same as me.
If 3rd party games look better on Steam and NX will that affect your purchase for current XB1 and PS4?
