Depends what you're looking for. Story wise both are kinda meh. Characters are boring as well. FF10 has amount of  content and the level system speaking for it. But FF12 wins on the exploration and fun part. FF12 also has the best cutscenes which are only rivaled by FFXIII.

Overall since FF10 is boring as shit and FFXII is so much fun that I played it multiple times I have to give it to FFXII.

Seriously, those give Star Wars a run for its money.

I've played through and beaten 10 multiple times, and have never managed to get very far in 12 before getting bored and playing something else. I think combat and music are the parts not hooking me on 12.

10 since I actually finished it. Didn't like the combat in 12 and never finished it although I think 12 has a better story and better characters and better voice acting.

I think XII had better non playable characters. Not necessarily the main villain, but I found its overall cast more unique and interesting then X. In XII even trivial NPCs like Old Dalan had soul, general I though the characters  you get to meet were far richer then X . Also XII's Dr Cid is probably one of my favourite FF charaters ever.

You are basically asking me which one do I hate less. I think I might have to go with 12. 12 has slightly better characters but slim margin, as they are both awful, but at least 12 had 50% margin of decent, where 10 had 2 characters that I remotely liked. Also both were super easy, but I have to give an edge out to 12 being the better in the gameplay department. Setting 12 wins in a landslide, pity the story doesn't reflect the setting as well.

FF X, obviously. But I must admit I am surprised by the poll's results. I thought FF XII would have been crushed.

Still i would love a FF XII remaster on PS4.

10 is better purely on grounds of the story and characters.
12 was better for the world design and voice acting and maybe (slightly) the gameplay.
Story counts for so much in JRPGs though.

FFX for me, Blitz Ball got me addicted. lol!

I love FFXII that voice acting was to die for but making Vaan the lead and not Ashe will always be a blemish in my eyes. lol!

Besides Zelda Ocarina of Time, one of my fondest memories being a teenager was with Final Fantasy X.

That game bring me back man...so many memories playing that with my cousin.

I really like both. XII has aged very well for me, but X is on another level. It has the combat, the characters, and the music.
