Well, if you are saying that is not appealing to you, ok, but is pretty obvious that the game has appealing when is such a hit in Japan. |
..... We are coming dangerously close to having a thread that helps people understand the "unstated opinion vs unstated statement" and how spot them out.
It is obvious that I recognize it does have fanbase as I mentioned in my first post in the thread. Logically, it would be counter productive for me to make a negative factual statement about its appeal power in light of that, so my second post has to be a what?
Btw, of course a game about raising Japanese mythology monsters, aimed at Japanese kids, in Japan is going to be hit. Doesn't say anything about its appeal in the west.

When will Europe get a demo? I have no idea how the combat will be.
It could go either way. But to be honest, I think it'll do well, but be a series that has good legs. I'm expecting over 700k in NA for lifetime.

The Yo-Kai attack on their own you have no control over it. Your basically in charge of healing them, switching them in and out and activating their ultimate attacks. Its a really passive combat system.

Tbh in Pokémon you just spam the same attack over and over again to win the battle. Talking about the singleplayer campaign of course. I swear the Elite Four still uses attacks like growl. Pokémon only gets exciting when you put in many hours to get your team ready for online battles.

I don't remember that, but I haven't gotten to the Elite Four in some of the recent games. I remember the gym battles offering enough of a challenge that I needed to grind, especially in Emerald, unless of course if your party has 1 strong pokemon or 2 pokemon that are super effective against the gym leader's pokemon.
