Well, if you are saying that is not appealing to you, ok, but is pretty obvious that the game has appealing when is such a hit in Japan.

It is obvious that I recognize it does have fanbase as I mentioned in my first post in the thread. Logically, it would be counter productive for me to make a negative factual statement about its appeal power in light of that, so my second post has to be a what? 

Btw, of course a game about raising Japanese mythology monsters, aimed at Japanese kids, in Japan is going to be hit. Doesn't say anything about its appeal in the west.
