What'd they render this with? This isn't the KH3 I remember seeing. Sora looks like a douche. I swear, it looks like it's on par with Super Mario Galaxy 2 which by no stretch of the imagination is a bad thing. However, it becomes a bad thing when a Wii game looks just as good as a PS4 game running on UE4. What the heck happened Square Enix?

It kinda does look like a PS2 game, but I'm not really sure what else they could have done with that style.

The SFX/particles/spells better be off the charts

Someone explained it to me.  I played BBS and 2, but never 358/2.  Is it worth playing, or should I just watch the movie?

Watch the movie. Like Coded its only tangentially related to the story, and the gameplay isn't good enough to validate it, unless you want to play the different characters of the organization. DreamDropDistance is much better, In fact, if it wasn't for weird perspective shifts with the 3D occasionally, it would be better than BBS, its essentially just an exxtension of that system with party members and a lot more movement options, it also doesn't run into that issue of replaying 3 nearly identical stories.

I liked BBS better than 3D.  Never been a big fan of the party system, especially when you have Dream Eaters instead of characters.  I like the transformations in BBS better than the specials in 3D.  But if 358/2 isn't really that directly related to the story, I'll probably skip it.

Quite frankly both look like 6th gen games right now, no matter how you look at it. Gameplay wise I'm not judging anything yet
