The random unlocks and microtransactions have no impact on standard PvP. Just cosmetic and Warzone mode. Hence, not really an issue. |
There are packs that include vehicles and weapons... not sure if it is only cosmetics.

I've only seen a handful and I'm here all the time. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, though.

On Xbone? Sorry but 10 million is really a way optimistic view... it won't reach this number... there isn't user base for that. |
there is hardly any doubt the X1 will outsell the original Xbox by quite a bit and afaik Halo 1/2 managed to get to 10m sold on that console
that said the Xbox userbases taste in games should be quite a bit more diverse by now and Halo has competent competition at this point, so I think Halo 5 could have a tough time selling 10m on X1, especially if the next title releases in 2 years (and most of the online community quickly migrates to that one)

That's in Warzone. Which he said. Anything else is cosmetic.
It's pretty disappointing what I've been hearing so far. I thought that after a while, the series would see a turn for the better. I can forgive that there's no split screen, but the 4-5 hour story kills it for me. Not to mention the blatant microtransactions. And as a side note, I hated that bait and switch they did with MC and Agent Locke, or the thing they did with him on the desert at the first trailer. I was interested that there was an epic fight against each other. My interest for Halo died out again.

You think having pay-to-win Micro Transactions in a game is fine. Even some of the games with lots of Microtransactions dont even do that.
I mean sure if you play well enough you can just get the piece of gear or you know ... like some people will do, Just pay the 5 bucks so they can be better then some.
Micro transactions are a almost always a terrible idea for any game Especially if it's in the Pay-to Win situation like it is in Halo 5

But thats the "New Hot game mode" that everyone is playing so it obviously is going to have an effect on the player economy.
I'm glad I didn't stay with the series after 3. I was afraid that the Halo series might save the xbone and let microsoft continue their plan for console gaming, but it looks like I don't have to worry.
I'm so glad I stayed out of this console generation.
I LOVE ICELAND!
