And that's my point, Titanfall looks like a failure when compared to the most successful shooters.

Is anyone actually playing CS and TF2 on consoles by the way? I'm guessing Titanfall is doing better.

It's the best battlefield, too, imo.
The simplicity and lack of progression system makes it a game of skill and skill alone.

I think its pretty much a guarantee a remaster won't happen. We would be lucky to see it on X1 BC. I think EA wants people playing newer releases.

I really enjoyed BF1943 as well. I think I prefered the simplicity of it compared to later releases.

So there ya go, Titanfall still a thing people do.

Not that great. Bf3 a game that released over 4 years ago currently has 5k on ps3, 3.5k on pc, and 2.5k on 360. This is on halloween at 11 pm. If it was earlier would probably be more.

And again, a Battlefield comparison.

The numbers BF, CoD and even Halo pull in are an anomoly. Titanfall is as well to a lesser extent.

I've done searches about that very question. I've found threads from about a year ago claiming its around a 1000. Even shortly after launch people were talking about how the population was small.

But that's par for the course for Killzone. Its never been very popular, which is why KZ3 MP went F2P. KZ2 MP was virtually dead when I got my PS3 in 2011. Uncharted 2 didn't have much happening either. Uncharted 3 MP also went F2P.

Hence, Titanfall on 360 is seeing better numbers than those games with smaller sales.

No it wasn't, this is exactly why the OP made this thread because even he admits that it wasn't active. Also that 10 million means nothing because we're talking about the Xbox version and that includes the PC version. And it free weekend on Xbox.

No, it was active. But it became MORE active with this sale.

I don't think Titanfall had free weekends on Xbox. Free Xbox Live maybe, but not free access to the game.

Titanfall is a great no doubt about it. If it release on other platform it will be more success, to bad it was only on PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Titanfall is still the coolest looking shooter this gen, IMO. Reminds me of quake in a weird way. I'm hesitant to buy it now, though, because all I have is a PC and I don't want to waste my money on an online game where I'll have to wait ages to find matches, and the only players left are way above my skill level.

Maybe I've just been playing the wrong games, but too many of the shooters I've played are total ghost towns once they reach titanfalls age, so 10k sounds like a hell of a lot of players. If I had an Xbone I'd be all over that. Especially at that price.

i remember playing uncharted 2 online after 2 years, it had 20k players daily. (or 40k, i think). with this right one sale, i wouldnt consider this impressive. obviously its still active, but its not really crushing it.

Good to see people still playing it. For me, Titanfall is definitely one of the best and most innovative shooters this gen so far.
