WiiU: 300$
Amiibo: 12$
That comparison makes little sense, Amiibo is on its way to outsell ps4 too.

I basically stopped buying any unless they look really really amazing compared to others (e.g, Ganondorf) or if they are close to my heart (e.g, Rosalina, all 3 Kid Icarus ones).
I think maybe Ryu would be my next purchase. Maybe.

Not comparing, just saying

Didn't you buy like half of those 21 million?

Well amiibos are used with the WiiU so the average WiiU owner has two, not sure why it doesn't make sense. It's a comment on the attach rate right?
Though do any 3ds games use amiibo's? I'm not sure :|
Just wait for the next Pokemon game.... where you need Amiibos to use your "pokemon", and they come packaged inside pokeballs.
I must say, Nintendo continue to impress. They always find a way to sell huge amounts, whether it is consoles, amiboos or anything related to Pokemon.

UGH
People buy them because they like the figures, why is that so dam hard to understand for some people? Just ask to the people that buys amiibo if they buy it for dlc or for collectible purposes and you will be lucky to find a single person that bought them for dlc mostly because the added content is in almost every case insignificant. Stop the hate already.
I told people these things are selling like hotcakes, but all I kept reading was the "Nintendo doesn't know how to make more amiibo" garbage...
